Lumley Research Award

Dr. Tarunjit Butalia was selected as a 2012 College of Engineering Lumley Research Award recipient.  This award was presented to Dr. Butalia on May 15, 2012 at the Annual Faculty Awards Banquet held at The Blackwell.

The Lumley Research Award recognizes the research contributions of engineering faculty and research scientists.  Up to fifteen Lumley Research Awards are given annually and are made possible by an endowment established by John H. and Mildred C. Lumley.  Each award recipient receives $1,500 and a framed certificate.   Awardees are selected based on their research accomplishments made during the five-year period prior to their nomination.
